President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump on Wednesday agreed to hold two campaign debates in June and September — the first on June 27 hosted by CNN — setting the stage for the first presidential face-off in just weeks. According #CNN, the #debate will be held in the network’s #Atlanta studios with no audience present, with moderators for the debate and additional details coming at a later time.
#MorningJoe’s #JoeScarborough reacts to #Biden’s challenge and #Trump’s response as the two expect to face off: “If you don’t have a pep rally. If you have a real debate with real questions…this is pure political death for Donald Trump because he will be judged on the merits. And when he is judged on the merits, he always loses.”
