Former Washington D.C. Police Officer Michael Fanone, who was at the Capitol on January 6th, 2021, slammed former President Trump outside of his criminal hush money trial in New York on Tuesday. When asked about the upcoming election, the former police officer said, "There’s a clear choice between an authoritarian who has a violence fetish and you know, somebody who seems at least has a long track record of commitment to democracy, the peaceful transfer of power, and our Constitution."
