President Biden addressed the first night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, weeks after he ended his reelection campaign and endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris for president. Mr. Biden spoke about his administration’s accomplishments while praising Harris, who will formally accept the Democratic presidential nomination on Thursday. First lady Jill Biden, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear also delivered speeches at the convention.
