Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón is holding a news conference to announce his decision regarding the potential resentencing of the Menendez brothers in light of new evidence in the case. Lyle and Erik Menendez were sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole for killing their parents in 1989. The news comes following weeks of renewed attention to the case after Netflix released a drama series and documentary about the brothers.
