Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu announced that he will present a ceasefire agreement with the Iran-backed Lebanese militia Hezbollah to the war cabinet for approval. The prime minister cited the need to focus on Iran, refresh Israeli forces, rearm troops, and isolate Hamas, as the reasons for the ceasefire agreement.
