Trump has yet to formally take office but he is already flooding the zone with “a lot of nutty rhetoric” to wear people out, says The Atlantic’s Tom Nichols. It’s part of Trump’s strategy, he tells Ali Velshi. “He understands that if he piles enough things together, we all start throwing our hands up and saying, ‘What can you do?’” But if people are serious about holding him accountable, they must be more disciplined and focused about what’s truly at stake. “If you keep sprinting, you’re going to wear yourself out.”
