Representative Robert Garcia (D-CA) used a poster with a meme of Jennifer Coolidge in "The White Lotus" as a prop to protest an amendment added to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) that bans funding for drag performances. Garcia also used a photo from a 2000 charity event showing former President Donald Trump and his former lawyer Rudy Giuliani, with Giuliani dressed in drag.
