A bipartisan panel of Texas lawmakers held a hearing Monday to reexamine the controversial medical theory that played a pivotal role in the conviction of Robert Roberson, a death row inmate convicted of murder in a "shaken baby syndrome" case. Roberson was set to testify Monday before the panel, but that has been delayed. Roberson received a stay of execution from the Texas Supreme Court just hours before he was to be put to death last week.
